Hi, I’m Allen Holmes.

I am a writer and speaker who tells stories of everyday interactions that have taught me some of the most valuable lessons of my life. Lessons gleaned from the lives and legacies of others with the intention of learning from them to build my own legacy.  And yours.

I am an emergency physician with a passion for having a lasting impact on the world in which I live.  I am married to my wife of 15 years.  Jenn and I have 3 amazing kids, Jax, Jade, and Jonah.

(We are a bit stuck on the J’s.  My middle name is Jason.)

Through being an emergency physician and doing international mission work, I am constantly meeting and interacting with people of all ages, ethnicities, socio-economic classes, faiths, and stages of life. I interact with them at their worst and at their best.  In their happiness and in their grief. 

In these moments of interaction, there are lessons to be learned. I have gleaned so much from these lessons and continue to learn from them every day. I want to share their stories and those lessons with you.

All of their lives and legacies are important, not only for their impact in their world, but for the lessons they can teach you and I so that we may impact our world.
